Seta Copper Silver Block Bath - 11310-0

Seta Copper Silver Block Bath – 11310-0

The solid block bath is specifically designed for measuring thin silver strip corrosion to ASTM D7667 and copper corrosion to ASTM D130.

The bath features four test wells to accommodate Corrosion Pressure Vessels (11500-0) and four test tube pre-heating wells for 25 mm diameter x 150 mm Test Tubes (11590-0).

The bath incorporates a centre hole in the block with a protruding aperture on the top cover for mounting a thermometer or digital thermometer probe which can be used to verify the test block bath temperature. The bath is capable of achieving a temperature stability of better than ±1 °C at temperatures between 20 and 150 °C as specified in ASTM D7667 and ASTM D130 test methods.

Methods

ASTM D130, ASTM D7667

Features

  • Dry heating for up to four test samples
  • Accommodates four 25 x 150 mm test tubes
  • Operator selected test set point temperature
  • Stability ±0.1 °C

Details

Machined from a solid aluminium block and heated by four high power silicon heating pads on the sides of the block. An integral digital temperature controller allows the operator to select a test setpoint temperature in the range of 20 to 150 °C.

The bath is fitted with an over-temperature cut-out switch that switches the power off if the measured temperature exceeds the factory set (default) cut-out temperature of 165 °C.
Supplied with: Mains lead and instruction manual.
